KEATON MCQUARRIE
VISUAL EFFECTS
From narrative short films to commercial content, my visual effects work is driven by a balance of technical precision and creative storytelling. With a BFA in Film & Television and a concentration in visual effects from DePaul University, I’ve contributed to a range of independent and client-based productions. My portfolio includes work on The Headhunter’s Daughter (winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival), Vox Humana (official selection at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival), Hilum (Winner of the Short Film Jury Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival), and Concrete, a sci-fi short starring Ed Harris. I’ve also created effects for music videos and commercial spots, including advertising content for the popular mobile game Rise of Kingdoms. Using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite—primarily After Effects and Photoshop—I focus on crafting clean, seamless visuals that support each project’s creative vision.
